Take a photo of the child posing as if he/she is presenting flowers to someone. Print the photo. Carefully use an X-ACTO knife to cut a small horizontal slit just above and below the child's hand in the photo.
To create the tissue paper flower, cut tissue paper into 4-inch squares. Stack three or four squares on top of one another. Fold the tissue paper accordion style. Wrap a pipe cleaner around the center of the folded tissue paper to hold it together and create a stem. Gently, pull the layers of tissue apart to create the flower.
Carefully slip the stem through the slits in the photo. Use Elmer's School Glue to mount the photo and flower to a larger piece of card stock or construction paper.
